Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to all paid services purchased on Tharlo (tharlo.in), including property report unlocks (Trust Score & Fair Price reports), premium listing upgrades, and advisory services. By making a payment on Tharlo, you agree to the terms below.
1. Digital reports (Trust Score & Fair Price unlocks)
Property reports are digital products delivered instantly upon successful payment. Once a report has been unlocked and viewed, the purchase is non-refundable. However, a full refund will be issued if: (a) payment was deducted but the report failed to unlock within 24 hours, (b) you were charged more than once for the same report, or (c) the report content failed to load due to a technical fault on our side that we could not resolve within 48 hours of your complaint.
2. Premium listing & seller services
Premium listing upgrades (Boost, Featured Seller) are strictly non-refundable. By selecting a Boost or Featured option and completing payment, the seller confirms the purchase as final. No cancellations, rollbacks, pro-rata adjustments or refunds are available once the payment is made — regardless of whether the listing is subsequently edited, marked as sold, or removed by the seller. Sellers are advised to review their listing details carefully before opting for a paid upgrade.
3. Legal & litigation referral services
Tharlo acts solely as a facilitator that connects clients with independent legal and litigation experts. Tharlo's responsibility is limited to establishing the initial contact between the client and the expert. Once the contact has been established, the referral fee is non-refundable. Any engagement, advice, fees, outcomes, disputes or dealings that occur between the client and the legal expert thereafter are strictly between those two parties — Tharlo is not a party to, and accepts no responsibility or liability for, such engagements. A refund will be issued only if Tharlo fails to establish the contact within the committed timeframe.
4. How to request a refund
Email hello@tharlo.com from your registered email, or raise a ticket from your dashboard's Support section, quoting your payment reference (Razorpay Payment ID) and the reason for the request. We acknowledge all refund requests within 2 business days.
5. Refund processing timeline
Approved refunds are initiated within 5–7 business days and are credited back to the original payment method (UPI, card, netbanking or wallet). Depending on your bank or card issuer, the amount may take an additional 5–10 business days to reflect in your account.
6. Cancellation of free listings
Basic property listings are free and may be removed by the seller at any time from their dashboard. No charges or penalties apply.
7. Exceptions
Refunds will not be issued for dissatisfaction with the outcome of a property transaction, market price movements, or decisions made based on advisory estimates such as the Tharlo Fair Price Range, which are provided for guidance only (see our Disclaimer).
